Activities
The Activity Department consists of more than a daily round of Bingo. Our focus is to create a vibrant, full of life, atmosphere, that will engage the mind of each resident and allow the importance of social interactions through bible study, distant destinations, noodle ball, holiday parties, and more!
Nutritional Dietary Services
Ridgeview and Ridgewood Health Services has a great team that works together to meet the nutritional needs of each resident with still getting a taste of some good southern home cooking. Both Services are tailored to meet the need of each individual, as each resident will have different dietary restrictions, physician’s orders, preferences, etc. Ridgeview and Ridgewood partner with a dietary consultant who comes in monthly to review the menus presented to the residents; there are also select menus available for those that may want an alternative.
Beautician and Barber Services
Ridgeview and Ridgewood Health Services offer an onsite salon with certified beauticians to meet the needs of each resident. We offer shampoo, style, cuts, manicures, and perms (at additional cost). We want to be intentional about boosting the confidence of our residents and allow them to not just look beautiful but to feel beautiful!
Laundry and Housekeeping Services
Ridgeview and Ridgewood Health Services has a great team that works together to ensure cleanliness to the facility, rooms, and personal items; we take pride in the cleanliness of our facilities! We offer the opportunity for you to utilize our in-house laundry services; however, it is not required!
Chaplain
Our chaplain, David Wallace, is a 46-year retired minister who serves our residents as a community and active congregation.
“Faith, hope, love. Of these three the greatest of these is love.”
With these words taken from 1 Corinthians 13, we want our residents to experience love in all they are involved in at Ridgeview and Ridgewood Health Services. Our goal is the holistic approach of care to every resident. With the worship experiences we offer, the opportunities for Bible study, in room visits, and family and resident counseling. We want Jesus’ love to be experienced. Truly, there is no greater love to share.
